MAIN (मैं)
Main (मैं) is a pronoun. As we know the pronouns of Hindi inflect depending on Numbers and Case. Main (मैं) is inflects on nominative case (a subject of a verb) as I in English. So it will be at Subject position. мαiи used in the context when you are the doer of the verb or also have a quality (adjective). Simply Main use when you're a doer of a verb.
Examples:
1. I beat.
मैं पीटता हूँ-Main peet-ta hoon.
i beat. (doer)
मैं जा रहा हूँ-Main Ja raha hun.
I am going (doer)
3. मैं अच्छा आदमी हूँ-мαiи achha admi hoon.
I am a good man.(quality)
4. मैं भूखा हूँ-Main bhukha hoon.
I'm hungry. (adjective)
MUJHE (मुझे)
Remember that the Pronouns in Hindi inflects depending on Numbers and Case, so that plural of मैं-Main is हम-Hum and Objective case form of Personal Pronoun मैं-Main is मुझे-Mujhe. It is important to know that in the Dative or Accusative Case, the Recipient/Beneficiary takes the Post-position को 'ko' (but not always). For example: मुझको-Mujhko, हमको-Humko, तुमको-Tumko, उनको-Unko and so-on.
Examples:
1. उसने मुझे खाना दिया-usne mujhe khana diya. (He gave me the food.)
2. पापा मुझे पढ़ाते हैं-papa mujhe padhate hain.
मुझे-Muje is an objective form but it can be appear as subject and also as object.
Examples:
1. मुझे भूख लगी है-Mujhe bhukh lagi hai.
(I'm feeling hungry.) (at Subject position)
2. उसने मुझको देखा-Usne mujhko dekha.
(He saw me.) (at Object position)
